Simon de Graaf

A/Prof de Graaf from The University of Sydney is internationally recognised as an expert in sheep reproduction, seminal plasma, sperm sexing and artificial insemination (75 publications, h-index 25, >2000 citations). Significantly, the findings of his research have led to changes in practice in the agricultural field. His research program has attracted a total of $7.4M in funding, predominantly from the agricultural industry. In recognition of his major contributions to the field, in 2020 he was honoured as both a Fellow of the Royal Society in NSW, and Fellow of the Society of Reproductive Biology. Simon has also made major contributions to education in reproduction biology and is the Secretary General of the International Congress on Animal Reproduction.
